This Amazing Walnut Coconut Milk with Turmeric and Cinnamon May Hold The Key to Your Health

Turmeric is an amazing spice with a long list of health benefits, but let’s face it there are only so many ways you can use it. This drink is a new way to try turmeric that is absolutely delicious.

Turmeric by itself is an very powerful anti-inflammatory compound and proven cancer fighter. So much research has been done on the health benefits of turmeric that it is hard to deny it’s medicinal qualities. For this drink you will combine the super-spice with another nutrient packed natural remedy: coconut milk. Coconut milk is full of medium chain saturated fatty acids (MCFAs). One of these particular acids is called lauric acid, which when consumed, creates a compound called monolaurin. Monolaurin has been shown to be a powerful antiviral and antibacterial compound that destroys a wide variety of disease causing organisms. Add in Walnuts and cinnamon which both promote circulation and heart health, and you have a super-drink full of super-foods.

Here is a recipe for a drink mix utilizing the medicinal benefits of turmeric as well as coconut milk and cinnamon.


-1 cup soaked walnuts. Soak overnight in water.
-1 cup shredded Coconut
-1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
-1 tsp. Cinnamon
-1 tsp. Turmeric
-1 tsp. Honey
-a pinch of pink Himalayan salt
-4 cups of water
Take all of the ingredients and run them through a food processor until the mixture is creamy and smooth. Use a strainer or a sprout bag to strain the contents into a container with a lid and store in the fridge.
